- CnF Track the shipment
- CnF lodge docs with Customs
- Customs assess docs and issue assessment on duties
- CnF inform importer about Assessment
- Importer Pay the Duties, Shipping line Charges
- CnF book for Cargo Verification
- Customs assign verification Date for the shipment
- CnF lodge for Port Charges and inform importer about the amount due
- Importer Pay Port Charges
- Shipment is verified
- Customs issue Release Order
- CnF deliver the cargo to importer
Import Permits Required for importing into Tanzania
- Certificate of Conformity (CoC) – Issued by TBS Agents i.e SGS, Intertek and Bureau Veritas in exporting Country. This is required for any kind of importation.
- TAEC Import Permit – Issued in Tanzania by Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission. This is for any importation that has possibility of emitting radiations (will include also permit number 1).
- TFDA Import Permit – Issued in Tanzania by Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority. This is for any importation that relates to food or drugs (will include also permit number 1).
- Chemical Permit – Issued in Tanzania by Government Chemist Laboratory Agency. This is for any importation that relates to chemicals (will include also permit number 1).
