Established in 2016, C&A was founded on the need to provide specialized, dedicated clearing and forwarding services to the East African market. C&A’s scope of services has naturally expanded over the years as the business managed the importation, exportation, and transportation of various
cargo shipments.
Depending on your specific needs, we can customize our solutions to proactively identify, address, and enhance any potential areas anywhere in your supply chain. CLEARING &
FORWARDING
We are a licensed to provide clearing and forwarding services in Tanzania and have a dedicated network of logistic partners in East and Sub-Saharan Africa. We clear and consolidate road, rail, sea and air cargo with speed and efficiency, maintaining strong affiliations with respective cargo service regulatory agencies and ground handling companies.
Customs Clearance
With expert knowledge of customs standards and protocols, C&A is experienced in importation and exportation of goods from various parts of the world into both Tanzania, the East and Sub-Saharan market and vice versa.
With a physical presence and an expansive network in key customs service and clearance areas from Dar, Namanga, Mtukula, Rusumo, Tunduma and beyond, we can facilitate efficient customs and excise clearance services.
Freight Forwarding
With a network of international partners, we can ship your cargo by road, air, or sea – or the best combination of these to suit your needs. We carry out freight rate negotiations, cargo space scheduling, container tracking, customs documentation, and freight consolidation, among other services.
Packaging & Consolidation
We store and consolidate transit cargo, optimizing shipping for last mile delivery. We provide less than container load (LCL) shipping (based on the cargo’s space requirements of consignments) for shipments that do not necessitate the use of an entire container.
TRANSPORTATION
When you need fast, efficient transportation, look no further than C&A. At C&A, we provide our clients with hassle-free and on-time express, freight and shipping solutions. When you ship with C&A, you have access to an extensive logistics network with flexible solutions created to meet your individual transportation needs along the supply chain.
Our primary goal is to transport inventory throughout a company’s supply chain efficiently and effectively. With built-in navigational systems and real-time tracking abilities, you will always know exactly where your shipment is located.
Road
As we own our own fleet of trucks and specialize in both long and short haul road freight, C&A has the dedicated capacity for various product transportation. Depending on the shipment, clients can also choose from parcel, full truck and less than truckload shipping with the possibility of door-to-door shipment.
Sea
Should your business require transport for heavy, cumbersome loads — or country to country shipping — maritime transportation is usually the way to go. We cater for large items shipped in bulk, such as metals, agriculture products, building supplies and others.
As independent freight forwarders we negotiate with shipping companies to obtain the best rates and options for moving Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments around the world.
Air
As a Cargo General Sales Agents for airlines, C&A is well positioned to provide fast, uncompromising delivery of cargo. We offer a full range of services on behalf of the airlines we represent

C&A’s end-to-end logistics chain involves a series of stages which run perfectly smoothly
to ensure that goods arrive at their destination fast and safely.
C&A does not only look after goods, but also ensures goods reception, safekeeping (making them easy to access and handle), maintenance (managing products, their safety and preservation), cargo inventory and transport (managing preparation, packaging, and shipment to the destination).
Warehousing Solutions
Our network of warehouses is used by different types of businesses that need to
temporarily store products in bulk before either shipping them to other locations or individually to end consumers.
We have partnered with inland container depots (ICDs), bonded and private warehouses offering lease terms varying from short-term to long-term commitments.
Inventory Storage
C&A safely and securely stores and protects products in an organized way, making it easy to track an item’s location, when the items arrived, how long the item has been there, and the quantity on hand.
MATERIAL SUPPLY
We source, procure, ship and transport supplies according to the material requirement
of our clients. We aim to assure a supply of material with optimised inventory levels and
